TALLINN NOVEMBER 2018
The Cash Game Festival returned home to the Estonian capital of Tallinn for the second time in 2018 and for an eighth time in festival history on Nov. 21-25, 2018. This extended a festival record for stops in one location with our tour also visiting London six times.
The games at Olympic Park Casino were off the charts. Not only did we bring in tons of players, but many old friends and new ones came from Scandinavia, the Baltic countries, and other locations around Europe. Of course, many of the local players also came around as they have grown to know what to expect when the Cash Game Festival is in town.
Local Estonian Rain Jogioja was the biggest winner at the feature tables by winning €1,845 or 922.5 big blinds at a €2/€2 Omaha televised game. This honor came with the special CGF Tallinn trophy and a package valued at €1,000 to a future festival.
A trio of 32Red Poker qualifiers also won their respective televised feature tables with Anton Dzhelali, Christian Braeuer, and Stephen Groom all notching big wins. In addition, this was the first time mixed games were ran at the t.v. table as an experimental stream. Fan favorite Jens Henrik Riis, otherwise known as Dansken to his friends, was the big winner at this table.
Main Event Travel CEO Fraser McIntyre was in town and proved he doesn’t just perform at a high level in tournaments by booking at tidy profit at the last feature table of the festival.
Other big feature table winners included Oliver Florea, Rikard Relander, Michelangelo Scalcione, and Barry McGleenon.
A special thanks once again to Olympic Park Casino for their amazing hospitality! See you again soon!
