TALLINN APRIL 2017

In April, Cash Game Festival live event took place in Tallinn, Estonia. We were hosted by the wonderful Olympic Park Casino right at the heart of the city. The casino is known as the Tallinn’s biggest, brightest and, of course, the fanciest. It offers Las Vegas style entertainment with one of the best cocktail bars in town. It is also a stage for international poker tournaments. For example, some of our Swedish players come here to attend the Swedish Poker Championship.

With the medieval Old Town of Tallinn just a walk away and the convenient Hilton hotel sharing the building with the casino, our Tallinn festival offered a very nice stay for our players.

Like always, we opened the festival with welcome drinks at 5 P.M. During the 5-day festival, we offered our players and qualifiers some nice side activities via Cash Game Festival hospitality packages. It is crucial to arrange these social events, so that people can relax and have fun together with other players and the team. Socializing, even networking, is a very important part of any live event experience. People have formed meaningful friendships via our festivals. This makes us truly happy, indeed!

In Tallinn, we took our players to several fun activities. On day 2, we went to a shooting rink. And in the evening, we treated our partners and players to a nice VIP dinner at restaurant Masha that offers a rich variety of foods with Russian and Scandinavian influences. On day 3, we got to enjoy a live concert by the talented Estonian singer Liis Lemsalu. The sound was excellent and free drinks were provided for the players. On day 4, despite the unexpected April snowstorm, we accepted the disk golf challenge and had loads of fun trying to “hit the mark”. On day 5, we went on a guided tour to a very unique museum in Tallinn called Lennusadam Seaplane Harbour. With its excellent architecture and the eye-catching display, the museum tour offered a welcome break from poker on this cool April Sunday in Tallinn.
