SLOVENIA MARCH 2017
In March 2017, we got very close to Italy because our second stop of the year was Nova Gorica, Slovenia. The little town with the huge Casino Perla is located right at the Italian border. This was our first stop to the region. Slovenia treated us well. Friendly people, good food & wine, and nice mountainous surroundings. Thank you!
As usual, in addition to playing poker, we had some great side activities planned and celebrated the Slovenian festival with the proper Cash Game Festival style party. We went rafting, visited an adventure park, socialized at the dinner table, had a great party & a pole dancing competition. On top of it all, on Sunday we visited an amazing Postojna cave where an open top train took us 2 km into the depths of the cave. A trip to remember.
