Recap from London – Day 5

Cash Game Festival’s second stop in London is successfully done! The festival matched a record for the most tables running at the same time with 28 tables during day 3 on Friday evening. Throughout the festival, many different games were enjoyed including no-limit hold’em, dealer’s choice pot-limit Omaha, Sviten Special, dealer’s choice mixed-games and open-face Chinese poker. The limits ranged from as low as £1/£1 all the way up to £25/£50.

Our last day started with a guided tour through London. It’s good to get away from the tables for a little while and enjoy a sunny day exploring this wonderful city. As was the case during every other day of the festival, the first televised feature table was a £1/£2 at 5:30 PM before the table switched up to higher stakes of £2/£5 no-limit hold’em at 8:30 PM. Cash Game Festival isn’t only about poker, it’s actually mostly about the people involved. For players with the hospitality package, our side activities included welcome drinks, darts competition, VIP dinner, beer tasting, VIP party, and a guided city tour. Old friends got to enjoy each other’s company again while new faces were welcomed with open hands. You can say that people who come here are like a family – saying goodbye is hard. But as we have another stop coming up in Tallinn November 16–20, the wait isn’t that long! And before that we have our first ever Online festival October 24-30 at iPoker!
