Recap of Day 3 – “The Art of Pool”, Tallinn (November 2016)

For the third day of the Cash Game Festival in Tallinn, we met at 2 pm to go to the side activities of this Friday : a competition of pool table ! VIP players, qualifiers and guest were all together at this huge Billiard place called “Baribal” very close to the Olympic Park Casino. Some drinks and food platters to enjoy and some time to spend practicing to warm up and we were all ready to start the competition!
On each pool table, two players were playing together, with then, new rounds against other players, I don’t know if it’s me and If I need to practice more but yeah, stakes were very high! Seems like some guys are not only good at poker but have some outstanding skills at pool too! By the way, a big congratulations to our winner Wojciech “Nadirek” Gromek from Poland (Ipoker qualifier) ! Also, during this billiard competition we had noticed that a side “Chinese Poker action” (we love this game!) has taken place as a side game with some of the busted players of the pool competition.

Back to the casino at 6 PM (Estonian time) it was already the time for the first TV table of the day live from our Twitch channel, a 2€/2€ with our man Brandon Allen at the commentary ! We had the pleasure to see our regular SlotsMillion player Maret Komarova in this action and the head of poker of NordicBet: Jostein Grødum, Matias Pesonen from Finland or also Rickard Ericson, a swedish professional poker player. Without any doubts this table had guaranteed us some beautiful actions!
During this TV table, in the same time, the VIP dinner has started (considering the big amount of people participating to this side activities we decide to make two dinner, at 6pm and 9pm, with the goal to make the experience more comfortable to everyone as the restaurant is an intimate, cozy, gastronomic location)
The spirit was high, the people were great, the service was absolutely impeccable and my friend the dinner was amazing, the place is called SALT and I highly recommend you to go there if you come to Tallinn ! It’s a comfy place and the staff is also very nice ! The food is original, so tasty and inspired by the Scandinavian cuisine. We had a nice starter, well presented, it was a cold beef tongue with a delicious fresh salad on the top, and an absolutely tremendous piece of cooked duck for the main course with a high-fly presentation, this restaurant is definitely a gastronomic place offering 100% quality food with very good wine also. The nice waitress tell us at the end of the dining experience that we are a very nice good group and so pleasant customers, and I can confirm, what a bunch of amazing people in this Cash Game Festival!
 
At 9pm, things were getting more serious: it was the time for the biggest action so far of this Cash Game Festival in Tallinn: a 25€/50€ TV table live on our Twitch, please enjoy the replay here ! On this high stake table, we had the pleasure to have players such as Daniel James, Pinky and Chuck Clark from U.K and Paavo Tromm and Rauno from Estonia. In the same time the casino was very busy, more then 16 tables were running, it was absolutely mad and we were feeling so much excitation into the lounge and a high spirit of party !
Today we already start the fourth day of the Cash Game Festival Tallinn with the VIP party tonight who will take place in a famous club of the Estonian capital (the location is still keeping secret) !
