Recap Bulgaria – Day 3
September 3, 2016Recap’ Day 3 – Sunny Beach, Bulgarie
September 5, 2016Saturday and the fourth day of Cash Game Festival at Platinum Casino, Sunny Beach, Bulgaria, was massive. I will take you thru all the action, starting off with the pool party. After that we give you a recap of the two live streamed TV-tables. All just to end things with the VIP Party that took place until the sun started to shine again.
First stop of the day was the pool party at Cascada Hotels. Cascada is just a couple of hundred meters from Platinum and is a massive and nice complex. It is also the host for some of our sponsored players. There were actually turtles and fishing swimming around in hotel area! Well, back to the party. It started with some cheering and smiles in our private pool area. Really nice surroundings gave the full relaxed impression you could expect. Add to that the drone pictures that will come out later on and it has to be considered a fulfilled party. The first annual “drink-a-beer-under-water-thru-a-cyclop”-challenge was also one thing that occurred. The heads up were lost by our loyal visitor Kalle Fagerström. Winner of the competition? Juggy Singh from Vita Pictura Productions!
After some showering the first live stream of the day took place. We had a really nice table including Co-founder of Cash Game Festival, Martin “Franke” von Zweigbergk. Amongst him, we had the famous E-sport gamer LemondogsTM-Pani. Add to that Kalle Fagerström and some more locals and partner Slotsmillion players Maret and Mr.Casino (Joel). The game ran for a couple of hours with a lot of “kou-kou” and smiles.
Next up: a 2/5 NLH that included Sweden’s Omar Eljach, stream favourite Janar Kokk, LemondogsTM-Pani stopped by another and Bulgaria’s Sunday million winner “Feri” took a seat too. Add to that, Jimmy Lundemo and a waitress handing him drinks throughout the whole session and we had another epic show going.
Speaking of epic shows. At 11pm we kicked off the VIP Party of the stop. A shuttle took the player’s and staff to a downtown club where reservations been made earlier. Myself, I had some rough health problems and couldn’t participate myself. But rumour gives (read: My room-mate knocking the door 10:30 in the morning) that the party was as epic as you can expect. What do they say? What happens in Sunny Beach stay’s in this blog. Yes, that’s the thing.
The night at the casino ran through smoothly with a peak of 10 tables during the night. The best game of the evening was a wild and crazy 5/5 PLO running till early morning. Add to that some nice action on all of the NLH tables that was running.
Let me also give you a small update on the high hand bonus that players can win. The jackpot money is contributed from pots taking place on each table and has generated two (!) packages for the next stop in London, UK. Packages are worth €1.700 each and includes travel money, accommodation, initial stake and the hospitality package for the winner and guest of his choice. We’ve had some really high hands in especially NLH. Leading right now is straight flush, K-Q-J-T-9. The only way to beat that is with a royal flush! Will that occur during the last day of gaming? Who knows! Top three hands in NLH is actually straight flush! In PLO the highest hand at the moment is four of a kind Jacks with and King kicker. I would be stunned if that hands hold up during the last day though.
Final day of playing will start off with a 1/2 NLH at 5:30pm EET. Before that, the guided tour in Sunny Beach with famous “Franke” will take place, starting in less than an hour. Attending for that will the sponsored players, some of the staff and a couple of family members being here. The live stream can be followed here: www.twitch.tv/cashgamefestival
