Recap’ du Jour 2 – Sunny Beach, Bulgarie
September 2, 2016Recap Bulgaria – Day 4
September 4, 2016Saturday is knocking on the door and it is time for the downhill of Cash Game Festival in Sunny Beach. Yesterday was Friday night and the experience gives us that people gets boozed more easily. But the experience did let us down a little bit this time. Although, still, the free bar does it’s work and I’m considering however I need a detox week when the festival is ended.
We start it off with the epic highlight video from day two, produced by our own production team of course. Just enjoy and see what you missed out on so far:
Day three kicked off with style. The first thing on the schedule was the epic yacht ride that took place on a 90+ft yacht, borrowed by an old poker player from Barcelona. Benefits of knowing people you know! Anyway, whilst most of our VIP guest, partners and crew went on the boat, some of us had to stay inside the casino to make sure that everything kept on running smoothly. There was still a game going since the night before.
The action at the tables was good but from what I’ve heard, the action at the boat were even better. The Black sea, champagne and a big boat – how is that not action filled?! Make sure to check out all the pictures in www.facebook.com/cashgamefestival and take a look at the sneak peak in the end of this post.
Poker wise, the first stream of the day was fully booked since long before. They kicked it all off with a 1/2 NLH table and it turned out to be some cool action from the beginning to the end. Make sure to check the replay and the live streams later at www.twitch.tv/cashgamefestival , where you also can participate in chatting with our amazing commentator Brendon Allen when the stream is running.
The casino filled up quickly on the Friday and we had twelve tables running simultaneously once again. Everything was played, from 1/2 NLH to 2/5 Drawmaha/Sviten Special, with a straddle every hand. That game was epic and probably it will be the national sport of Bulgaria any day now.
At 9pm, eastern European time, we kicked of the second stream of the day. Decided since earlier, it ended up being a 5/10 NLH running, with previous TV-table players such as Brendan Kabrill and Janar Kokk, also a lot of locals joined the action too. We got to see a good bunch of big pots, make sure to check the replay of these too.
The games lasted till late morning or just say it, about lunch time. Now, time is flying and its almost beer o’clock again. First of all, the pool party is going to happen. Our friends, families and players are up for a real treat at a neighbour hotel, close to Platinum Casino and Hotel. We have to make sure that everyone gets their fair number of D-vitamins for sure.
Finally, I would like to say it the same way as previous days: To enjoy all the photos taken by the lovely Natalie from Pastakeda Photography, visit our Facebook page linked to above. But here you have some of the goodies from day three:
