En route pour la Bulgarie
August 31, 2016Recap Bulgaria – Day 2
September 2, 2016So, the first day is done and the second is about to start. But before that, I have the feeling that I would like to share some fun happenings with you from day one.
It all started with the welcome drinks at 5pm. Some previous well known faces where saying hi to each other again and a lot of hugs and kisses where handed out. The casino offered our early guest some rosé champagne which was well appreciated amongst the early birds. A lot of familiar faces shared even more smiles but soon, it was time for some real action.
The first TV-table of the day was set to be a 1/2 Texas with eight players, including both new and old faces. Both locals and sponsored players attended that stream, which by the way is shown twice a day at www.twitch.tv/cashgamefestival . Starting time for the streams are 6pm GMT+1 and 9pm GMT+1. It was sure to be some good action instantly on that TV-table and we had a couple of hundreds of viewers on the stream at the same time. Hopefully, before the end of the festival, we will reach 400+. A double would be awesome.
Besides the first TV-table we had 9 tables running quite fast, including a 2/5 PLO filled with both good players and great action. Besides this, rumour says we had not only one, but two Sunday Million winners in the casino – at the same time. More on that later on during this week.
The second stream of the day was set to be a 2/5 Texas and some more deepstack action occurred. We had the familiar Janar and Brendon from Malta stop playing, amongst some familiar locals and other pre-registered players. Speaking of that, the pre-registrations for London is now open and we’ve already got 20+ registrations – the first day! That’s cool, right?
To summarize, the first day was very good. The service level of the casino is high and the knowledge amongst the personnel too. For day two, we aim to have 14+ tables running simultaneously and make sure to follow us on www.facebook.com/cashgamefestival , where hourly updates with both pictures and videos are made all day.
But now we prepare for this stops sport challenge: Mini golf! After that, we will have a cosy dinner followed by some late night poker.
