July 14, 2017Juhani Tyrisevä has known Martin “Franke” Von Zweigbergk, the founder of Cash Game Festival for quite some time. The story goes that they met at a casino in Helsinki, and have been good friends ever since. Juhani, a Finnish poker aficionado him-self, is keeping Pokeritieto.com up to date with what is happening in the Finnish and European poker.
Juhani is keen on covering the Cash Game Festival because he firmly believes that some Finnish cash game lovers should defenitely travel to these festivals. At least, Finnish players should participate when the festival is held in Tallinn at Olympic Park Casino in autumn 2017, he believes. They would find better games than in Finland right now, is his opinion.
Pokeritieto is the oldest and second biggest poker information site in Finland. The site was established in 2004. They have covered more poker events than any other poker sites in Finland.
In fact, Pokeritieto and Pokerisivut are now the two biggest poker information sites in Finland, and after consolidation in 2011, they belong the same concern, owned by Unibet.
Pokeritieto has been covering the Finnish poker events such as Midnight Sun, Helsinki Freezeout, EPT (about 40 events during 8 seasons), and middle limit European events such as EMOP, GSOP and Unibet Open, and of course some Cash Game Festivals as well. Their aim is to maintain the leading market role in Finland. Their live reporting might decrease to some extent, but this is yet to be decided.
According to Pokeritieto, the Cash Game Festival is a great concept, and they are happy to be friends with the festival founder Franke – he is an easy-going man and a pleasure to work with, according to Juhani.
Naturally CGF Tallinn stops are always best for Pokeritieto, because they see quite many Finnish players there already.
