November 3, 2017Since our Tallinn stop is getting closer and closer, we would like to talk a bit more about topics related to Tallinn, the Capital of Estonia that is the birth place of the Cash Game Festival as you know it today. We started here in 2014 and are always super happy to be hosting our players, Partners and their qualifiers in this charming small city. Moreover, the brand new Olympic Park Casino right at the heart of Tallinn is a wonderful venue for our poker festival. What could be better than playing poker in this beautiful and convenient casino?
Tallinn is conveniently small, so if you would like to take some time off poker during the day, you will find many things to do close to the casino. Enjoying your time in Tallinn doesn’t necessarily require a heavy wallet because Tallinn offers something for everyone. It’s a lovely city with numerous historical landmarks and has the most beautiful medieval Old Town in Europe. Moreover, the city is home to some of the best restaurants in Estonia. It is also a great place for shopping and relaxation.
Also, in Tallinn, you will get a million-dollar view for almost nothing. Instead of staying at Tallinn’s luxury high-rise hotels, you can get a magnificent view of the city for free by visiting one of the viewing platforms on Toompea Hill. Namely, Patkuli and Kohtuotsa viewing points offer beautiful views to the Old Town and the Baltic Sea. However, if you feel like getting an even better view of the city, you can climb the tower of St Olav’s Church for just a few euros. Tallinn Viimsi Spa
Some of our players have visited the spa and sauna center and simply love it. It is luxurious and has a superb atmosphere. Exactly the place where you can enjoy the pleasures of the water paradise. In addition to their steam bath and three Finnish saunas, you can enjoy the salt stone, wood-heated and a very special juniper sauna. In between your sauna visits, you can cool yourself in the spa pools and Jacuzzis and enjoy refreshing cocktails in the spa bar. The spa also includes a relaxing pool for peaceful bathing and an outdoor pool with cool water for the extra refreshing experience. Near the sauna area, you can find stylish spa treatment rooms for that maximum health boost you have been longing for.
In the spa and sauna area, it is possible to visit their café. The payment is made on the account associated with the locker number, so do you do not have to take cash or a bank card with you into the wet area. You can simply pay the bar invoice in the sauna and fitness club reception upon leaving. Leave your wallet behind and forget your worries! Of course, in Tallinn Viimsi Spa, you can also book private saunas for 6 persons starting from €35 an hour. Note that private saunas are open for use from 11 AM to 10:30 PM. So, how far is this wonderful water venue from the casino? Well, only about 11 km but the visit is totally worth it. To get there, it is best to use taxi apps such as Taxify or Uber that are super convenient and fully functional in Tallinn.

Massaaži Ekspress opened its doors in 2008. They specialize in massage and their ultimate goal is to offer the best professional massage service in Tallinn. Their massage therapists constantly educate themselves in the field of massage, trying to keep up to date with the latest techniques and trends. Only about 900-metre walk from the casino is the lovely Sinine Slong that, in addition to offering haircuts and hair treatments for women, is offering the same services for men as well. Since 1998, their mission is providing quality beauty salon treatments for men and women. The salon is a family business and is a dream come true to its CEO Aili. In addition to experienced barbers and hairdressers who know their customers personally, the salon has a warm and friendly atmosphere – all you need in order to return to the casino with a fresh haircut and a bright smile on your face.

Only 400-metre walk from the casino is a place that can give you and your partner the smoothest skin you can dream of. Welcome to the depilation salon Depilatsiooni Buduaar. A lovely business started by two long-term friends who are loving mothers, enjoy life and sometimes do a lot of gardening in their spare time. By now, the team has grown by several lovely beauticians. There is a good reason the salon’s phone is often red – they offer efficient quality service with reasonable prices. Moreover, the cozy salon has beautiful interior design, reflecting one of the founder’s taste for Scandinavian design and antiques. Upon visiting, you are greeted with a cup of lovely freshly ground coffee and friendly smiles. In fact, quite a large portion of Depilatsiooni Buduaar’s customers are men. In today’s modern world, it is no secret that there are men who like using beauty services from time to time. So, feel no shame when a beauty salon attracts your attention.

Pirados Tattoo & Art Studio
Why not get a tattoo while in Tallinn? Especially when it is done by talented professionals. Namely, only a 3-kilometre taxi ride from the casino, in a progressive and art-loving Tallinn area Telliskivi, is Pirados Tattoo & Art Studio that can give you the tattoo you have always wanted. The studio is open from Monday to Friday from 10 AM to 6 PM and on Saturdays from 12 AM to 5 PM. For the exact location, it is best to visit their Facebook page. Can I come with my own drawing or a design idea?
Of course you can. However, keep in mind that for the best outcome, our tattoo artists will need to re-design your initial designs and drawings. For smaller tattoos, the re-designing can be done on the spot. For large-scale works, re-designing is more time-consuming and requires a consultation before your tattoo appointment. You can email us the design specifications and wishes ahead of time.
How long will it take to get a tattoo?
It depends on the image and, of course, on the particular artist. For these reasons, we cannot give you an exact time-frame.
When should I book my tattoo appointment?

How much does it cost to get a tattoo?
The first hour, including the preparation procedures, is €80; any additional hour after the first hour costs €60. Design prices start from €50, the final price being dependent on the complexity of details and the scale.
