Lights, camera, action! It is almost time for the Cash Game Festival Sunny Beach on Aug. 7-11 at Platinum Casino, located steps away from the Bulgarian Black Sea.
The TV table schedule has been released and we are thrilled to announce a few changes.
New Games
To add a little more flavor both to our players and viewers we have added new games including a Short Deck session on Thursday, Aug. 8 and a five-hour Mixed Game session on Sunday, Aug. 11.
Of course, there will be still plenty of No-Limit Hold’em and Pot-Limit Omaha at the feature table as well as we don’t want to leave the two most popular games out.
Speaking of Omaha, there were some changes there as well during our last festival in Tallinn to expand our normal four-card version to five-card. This proved to be very popular among the players and also provided tons more action and excitement for our stream viewers as well. There will be three Omaha feature tables in Sunny Beach and two of them will feature five-cards!
As has been the case most of the year, the charismatic George Sandford will be back once again to entertain the masses with both his winning personality and knowledge of the game. George will prove to be extremely useful in commentating the Short Deck action as he won the only Hendon Mob trophy ever awarded in this event when the Cash Game Festival and Malta Poker Championships joining forces in May.
Trophy Ceremony Saturday Night
For the first time, we will be awarding the trophy Saturday night instead of on Sunday to make the experience truly special for the winner. The casino will be packed with players and the honor of winning the trophy should be recognized by as many people as possible.
While the trophy will still go to the player that wins the most big blinds at any TV table, this only applies to the first eight feature tables on Aug. 7-10.
With this in mind, we are able to do something different on Sunday, Aug. 11. For the first time we will be hosting a longer five-hour session and as already mentioned this will be in Mixed Games. This gives our players and viewers a chance to watch and learn many games as the games will be constantly changing.
