The Cash Game Festival’s first 2018 edition at the excellent Aspers Casino Westfield Stratford City in London was a great success for us! On this first week on January, our record was 24 simultaneously running cash game tables. Seems that some needed a good grind after the relaxing holiday season. Again, we had many familiar faces flying in from all over Europe, adding some color to the local poker scene. Moreover, like in Tallinn, we managed to put together yet another ladies only feature table. For quite many poker gals at the TV table session, it was their first time at the Cash Game Festival’s live felt and they enjoyed the whole experience very much.
At London stop, we played hold’em, dealer’s choice pot-limit Omaha, Sviten Special and super dealer’s choice at low and high stakes. As always, Aspers’ Dealers were professional and the Casino Staff helpful. Needless to say, it is a pleasure to return to Aspers again and again.
In addition to playing loads of live poker, we also had some off the felt fun! We would not have it any other way. At every stop, we offer fun side activities to qualifiers and players who purchase the Cash Game Festival’s hospitality package. During these outings, players can socialize and relax. In London, we enjoyed welcome drinks on the first night of the festival, exercised at a trampoline park, had a super tasty Brazilian-style VIP dinner on Friday, a beer-pong party with not only beer and a guided tour of Camden Town, a district of north west London, on the sunny Sunday afternoon. What a pleasure it was!
