June 15, 2017Cash Game Festival Malta 2017 is finally upon us, and among our prime Partners, we find Guts.com. Founded by professional Norwegian poker players in 2013, Guts.com has already made its mark on both, the Microgaming Poker Network and the live poker scene around Europe.
Guts.com is bringing their A-listers to sunny Malta, and why wouldn’t they for this is an amazing stop of Cash Game Festival 2017. The A-listers are led by “The Princess of Poker”, Silje Nilsen, Guts’ Poker Ambassador (in the photo). You will find an interview with Silje HERE filmed at our London 2016 stop. Team Guts will also feature a number of online qualifiers. Amongst them are Sami “The Fin” Kontio, winning a CGF package via our online promotion by Guts.com.
You will, of course, also find the Head of Poker at Guts, Eirik “Dorry” Thorvaldsen hanging around the tables, splashing pots and drinking shots. The young Norwegian is a familiar sight on the island and in poker tournaments around Europe. Along with him, you will also meet his protégé, Lars “Lasken” Isaksen, another Scandie with a keen eye for loose calls.
Among the more “valuable” Gutslings featuring in Malta, we have former Norwegian Poker Commentator, Andreas “Shibby” Berge, who’s famously better at talking than playing cards. Watch the interview with Andreas HERE, also filmed at our London 2016 stop.
Also, keep a look out for Magnus “Kok” Grøtvik, a cash game player. He says he is coming to Malta to prove a point. Or, rather to prove himself as a poker player. Good luck, Mangus!
Guts is also introducing a new prospect to the poker scene, Gøran «Røyne» Sommerfryd. Cash Game Festival Malta will be this starlet’s first international appearance, so we’re expecting both, great plays and nerves galore.
