Action du samedi et challenge frisbee, Jour 4 du Cash Game Festival à Tallinn
April 30, 2017Visite du musée maritime et Juha Helppi débarque à bord, Jour 5 du CGF de Tallinn
May 1, 2017Sunday, Day 5 at the Cash Game Festival in Tallinn started with the promise of better weather. Snow from the previous day had melted and the sun was peeking through the clouds here and there.
For some of the players, day 4 never ended – at 2 PM on Sunday, they were still playing since Saturday night. Even 24 hours of straight cash games for some. A dream weekend in the making, and something that the Cash Game Festival wholeheartedly supports. Good job, lads! Poker therapy at its fullest.
The later Twitch TV table of the day was in the finish line and the poker room was filled with some decent action when Juha Helppi walked in for a round of €5/€5 no-limit hold’em. Everybody’s jaws just dropped, our photographer Petra became very busy, trying to capture the moment of him at the poke table. The excitement!
Namely, Juha Helppi is one of the biggest professional poker players in Finland. He is a well-known cash game player. At the same time, his tournament cash earnings go through the roof, according to the Hendon Mob. Tervetulo, Juha!
Good news as well – an additional player will win a 2,000-euro package to our Gibraltar stop. Namely, there will be raffle for a third person. This lucky player will be drawn from the group of people that have gotten a high hand at Tallinn stop.
Moreover, Gibraltar stop is expected to be one of the best in Cash Game Festival history. Many Estonian players have promised to come as well. Some of the Estonians were sitting at the later TV table of day 5. Tere tulemast!
The first TV table of the day saw an Estonian player Tauri Taimre making a decent profit. The final TV table of the day was ruled by yet another Estonian, by Mark Joa whose profit was very decent €2,000.
Our social event of the day included a museum visit. At 2 PM, we went to the Estonian Maritime Museum Lennusadam. The place is huge and awesome – the unique structure, a former seaplane hangar built 100 years ago, has been turned into one of the best museums in Tallinn. It is near the heart of the city and one the sea. Only a 5-minute taxi ride from the casino.
The festival successfully over, we would like to thank our Partners and Olympic Park Casino. It was great working with you. We will be back in Tallinn in autumn – the festival will be even bigger and with more tables. Yet again, we would like to welcome Finnish players to all our Tallinn stops. In fact, Juhani Tyrisevä from Pokeritieto.com made a special note about Finnish players having to come to the next Tallinn stop because the games would be better than in Finland right now. In Juhani you must trust!
See you in Gibraltar in two weeks!
Yours,
Cash Game Festival Team
