Nova Gorica, nous voilà ! Jour 1, CGF en Slovénie !
March 9, 2017Aventure en pleine nature, CGF Jour 2 à Nova Gorica
March 10, 2017
The early hours of the 2nd day found Pokernews’ Jason Glatzer playing Sviten Special. By the time the sun game up, Jason was the biggest winner at the table. Way to go Glatzer! But this is not where the story ends. Namely, he decided to go live on Twitter and Periscope.TV straight form Perla Casino’s Poker Room. His Periscope stream had over 1000 viewers! Moreover, some of his viewers got interested in joining the upcoming Cash Game Festival events. Welcome! We are hoping to see you at our next festival in Tallinn, Estonia on April 26th – 30th.
The players who bought the Cash Game Festival’s hospitality package visited Soca Fun Park in the early afternoon. They went rafting on Soca river, climbed in trees and flew across the river valley via zip-lines. There is some truly fun footage of Andro and Brandon flying across the valley. Just go to our Instagram account and find March 9 video posts. You will see more footage from the adventure park in our DAY 2 recap video that will be available later in the day. Stay tuned.
What was My Little Slots doing all day? Busy as usual. Below are her quotes from the 2nd festival day:
“Had my first heart attack taking an insanely high and long zip-line ride over the Soca river in Slovenia. Had my second heart attack doing my first ever Twitch stream online!!”
“Did you know that I play Guns n’ Roses on SlotsMillion because they have great music.”
Do not forget the SlotsMillion giveaway that takes place every night during the Cash Game Festival’s 2nd Twitch stream of the day. And, for your information, the 1st TV table was €NLHE 1 / 2 & €NLHE 5 / 5 at the second TV table. If you missed the live streams, simply go to our Twitch channel and find day 2 streams.
The 1st TV table featured a super nice lad Daviel Näsman from Sweden. He had heard about the festival from a friend. Last year’s event in Sunny Beach, Bulgaria was his first. “Back at it again!” he said, giving us a friendly smile right on the TV table set. According to him, live TV tables are exciting because there is usually a bit more action, and people are a bit more chilled in front of the camera. “Maybe friends are watching, so you want to be more lively, not just sit like a blueberry bush”, he exclaimed.
The 2nd TV table promised an interesting game. Indeed, it happened. Congratulations for the winner Federico Drassich who is a regular at Perla Casino. He won around €2,700 (€5/€5 no-limit hold’em). You can read more HERE.
Now let’s move on to contract law. This is relevant because an Estonian player Janar Kokk arrived in Nova Gorica. Namely, him and Franke have the coolest contract in the whole contract law history. To put it shortly, Janar had to move to Italy because he lost to Franke. You will not regret if you read more HERE.
And ladies … Surprise, surprise! Scandinavian HUNKS walked in the poker room at around 12 at night, and settled at a poker table for a good game. They left at around 3 A.M., leaving some local players feeling sorry for even sitting at the same table with the male dancers. Our Maxime and Ardi were also playing with the HUNKS. We didn’t actually hear these two screaming with joy when the game ended. Apparently one of the dancers won a big pot last night. So, they can dance and play. That is the beauty of poker. It draws in people from all walks of life – dancers, accountants, skiers from Sweden ?Never a boring conversation if you happen to be in a poker room.
One could say that a nightly round of Sviten Special is already an ancient tradition at the Cash Game Festival events. The game started at about 11 P.M. At around 3 A.M. the guys were still playing. The air was filled with competitive vibes, the players being a little more serious than the night before. This game is not for everyone, but for those who learn to love it, there is no way back. Let’s see what Friday night brings.
We would like to remind you that the next festival takes place in Tallinn. Want to win a ticket to Tallinn? Read more HERE.
