Welcome to Tallinn & Proud to Present Our Awesome Partner SlotsMillion!
April 26, 2017C’est repartit pour 5 jours d’actions! Jour 1 à Tallinn !
April 27, 2017Tallinn stop is finally here. Welcome to all old and new players. Let’s make this one memorable as well.
What is new? Well, we are happy to announce that we now have our very own Cash Game Festival’s VLOG, focusing on the daily happenings and fun moments during the festivals.
Namely, Maxime, the funny French guy (and the French Charmer who won a pole dance competition in Slovenia) who is a part of the team, doing communication and blogging in French, is now doing his own daily video vlogs in English during our 5-day festivals. Expect to hear a lot of charming French accent; also, expect to see a lot of poker action because he himself is a passionate player who does not shy away from a round of Sviten Special aka Drawmaha.
You will also see some travel footage of Maxime because he starts vlogging from the moment he leaves London, his current place of residence.
So, where can one view his vlogs? It is super easy. They will be on the Cash Game Festivals very own Youtube channel. And we will let you now via Facebook and Twitter when the vlog is up.
Day 1 started with the welcome drinks at 5 PM at the Olympic Park Casino (the feature image). The players started arriving slowly but surely. We got some fun & glam photos of the early birds with the help of our lovely photographer Petra. Say hi to her if she is walking around with her big camera – it could happen that the Cash Game Festival’s photo model of the day award goes to you.
The first live TV table of the day started as usual at 6 PM. Our beloved commentator Brandon looked sharp and smart, ready for some good live poker action.
The stakes for the first TV table were €1/€2 no-limit hold’em. At the second TV table, the takes stayed the same as the game never broke off. Basically, Brandon took a break between streams, and then the action continued.
A player simply known as Viacheslav was the biggest winner of the first day’s TV tables, walking away with approximately €700 in profit. Cash Game Festival regular Niklas Blomqvist from Sweden did not do bad as well, making €150 in poker gains.
Cash Game Festival’s fashion special goes definitely goes to Roland Luik from Estonia who rocked a pair of very special sunglasses at the TV table. His sunglasses kept changing images, displaying words “Cash Game Festival” in the beginning and then moving on to rolling eyeballs etc.
By around 10 PM there were already two €5/€5 Holdem tables in the house which was a good start. The tables kept filling in as the night continued and by 12 at night there was a nice poker buzz in the poker room.
A local poker hero Marius Morel walked in, looking to get no-limit hold’em action as fast as possible. He did get it at once. You can read more about his Estonian Championship achievements HERE.
As the evening continued, more Finnish players started arriving as Finland is just 80 km across the sea from Tallinn. We were happy to greet the Finnish comedian Veli-Matti Puumala who has been at our Tallinn stop before. What can we say about him? He is simply a lot of FUN. Just look at the photos below and you will understand why we were super happy to see him again.
In the evening, some players were already excitedly talking about the second day’s visit to a shooting range which is the first social side activity at Tallinn stop. Fun, fun and loads of poker. That is how we do it.
Yours,
The Cash Game Festival Team
