June 10, 2019The Cash Game Festival (CGF) is about to make its triumphant return to Olympic Park Casino, located in the heart of the Estonian capital of Tallinn for five days of nonstop cash game poker action on June 12-16.
Tallinn holds a special place in our hearts as this is where the entire festival began. There first three CGFs were hosted in Tallinn with cofounders Enri Orav and Martin “Franke” von Zweigbergk calling the city their home.
It wasn’t until 2016 that the tour began its path to grow into what it is today when the CGF embarked international to London and since then has been to many amazing venues across Europe.
This will be the ninth time the Cash Game Festival will be held in Tallinn and it will be sure to be one to remember.
Welcome MPN Qualifiers
While it is true that the Cash Game Festival did once run side-by-side with the popular MPN Poker Tour, the Cash Game Festival Tallinn marks the first time we have partnered with its online arm the Microgaming Poker Network.
We will be happy to wine and dine and of course, provide amazing poker action to the 18 players that qualified at MPN via the highly successful Cash Game Festival Wired promotion the online poker network ran.
Each of the players that qualified to the CGF Tallinn will be rewarded with a package valued at €1,500 that gives them everything they need to enjoy our festival in style.

Win the CGF Trophy at our Televised Feature Tables
If you follow our tour, you are already aware of the uniqueness of our televised feature tables. We host two tables per day, which after doing a bit of simple math comes to 10 feature tables.
Many of our feature tables involve low stakes as we want a chance for every player to shine under the lights and cameras to family and friends while also having a chance to win the CGF Tallinn trophy. Once again, the charismatic George Sandford will be leading the way behind the booth with many guest commentators joining him throughout the festival.
The player that wins the biggest amount of big blinds during any of the 10 feature tables will be declared the Cash Game Festival Tallinn champion and be awarded the CGF Tallinn trophy and a package to a future festival.
Rain Jõgioja
In November, Rain Jõgioja (pictured above) shipped the last CGF Tallinn trophy awarded after impressively booking a 922.5 big blind win at a €2/€2 pot-limit Omaha feature table. Rain tried to grab a second trophy in Malta but came up short to Karen Muir who won her first CGF trophy instead. He will give it another shot in Tallinn as will three-time trophy winner Kevin Malone and two-time trophy winner Franke.

Our VIP hospitality package has grown a reputation for uniting players with common interests into a CGF family. Each day of the festival, the CGF will host a planned activity that any player with the package can attend. Since this is cash games and not a tournament, players can decide for themselves if they would rather be playing or have fun with our players and crew.
