Get ready for some fun and excitement – and of course tons of poker – as the Cash Game Festival Bucharest is about to begin at the Poker Room Bucharest for five action-packed days of nonstop cash games from Oct. 16-20.
We expect a lot of new faces to join us along with some familiar ones as this is our first visit to the Romanian capital.
There will be twelve T.V. tables with two taking place on Wednesday, Thursday, and Sunday and three taking place on Friday and Saturday. The trophy contests awarded to the players that win the most big blinds in NLHE, PLO, and Mixed Games will be on Saturday night, meaning the Sunday games will be excluded.
Cash Game Festival Commentator George Sandford will be once again entertaining our fans on our Twitch and Facebook streams of the feature table.
To add to the fun, there will also be a tournament festival running at the venue highlighted by the €330 NetBet Open by Pokerfest Main Event featuring a huge €100,000 guarantee on Oct. 17-20. Of course, even if our players don’t dive into the tournament we will have cash games running throughout the day and night and plenty of amazing activities planned away from the tables for those with the VIP hospitality package.

What’s on Tap on Day 1

There will be plenty of poker action for our players to choose on today’s Day 1 including two exciting TV tables.
The first TV table will be a €2/€2 PLO table at 7 p.m. where it will be dealer’s choice between whether players start with four or five cards. We have experimented with this format at recent events and it has proven to be popular for both players and viewers alike.
Welcome drinks will be held at the Poker Room Bucharest after the first stream ends. The TV table game then changes to €2/€5 NLHE.
