Et une 2€-5€ qui marche !
June 9, 2016Recap’ Day 2
June 10, 2016Day two of the actions here at Casino Malta is over and overall it is still a success. The games actually kicked off just w
hen the first days game ended. First stream of the day was a 1/2 NL Hold’em and we saw some nice action. The stream went on for a couple of hours and it seems like Sweden was the winning country on the table – as it should be of course!
The game went on after the stream ended with the players moved to another table in the venue. The reason we do that it to prepare the next tv-table so that as many players as possible gets the opportunity to play the amazing live streamed game. Haven’t seen it yet? No worries, look at www.twitch.tv/cashgamefestival .
At four it was time for the first Cash Game Festival bowling challenge. Winner turned out to be the famous printer Peter La Terra beating the even more famous family guy Ronnie Jonsson in the championship series. Congratulations and thanks to everyone participating in all the fun and all the good drinking.
When the bowling ended it was time for the second stream of the day. Next up was the actual highlight of the day – 2/5 PLO with a really massive field including for example Sebastian Blom, brother to the famous “Isildur”! Not to take away Sebastians accomplishments even though it is easy to fall in the shadows of his brother. Sebastian is a fun and polite player always acting correct and gives away a serious impression for everyone. And obviously he’s good at poker too since he ended up a nice winner at the table. Also the for Swedish audience well known player Omar “El Nacho” Eljach ended up a winner. Sweden rules as it seems and surely that will be the case during Euro 16′ which kicks off tomorrow!
The games went on, we had Drawmaha/Sviten special running all night where the players got a big amount of wine supplied by the always so kind host Roman Gabriel, thanks again Roman for your great hospitality! There where a lot of other action both in Texas and PLO a
nd the PLO 2/5 featured table actually was active for many more hours after the stream was ended.
Third and last stream for the night ended up being a 2/5 NL Hold’em including the founder of Cash Game Festival mr. Martin “Franke” von Zweigbergk. Basically Franke killed the table as usually with his bad laughs and fun jokes.. Or wait, it’s the opposite I guess..
On Friday the day will be kicked of with a whole day catamaran ride on the ocean. Players not attending that event will have the chance to show their skills of at the tables in the casino. When we get back from the boat trip the second stream will be launched and after that the Euro ’16 opening ceremony will take part. We will watch the game France – Romania together in the casino bar cooling ourselves down with a cold beer and some fun action at the tables. After the game the party for the evening takes part and the rest will be history forgotten on saturday when wakeing up!
Thanks everyone for watching the streams today and attending the Guts.com freeroll. The freeroll attracted
41 players and we would like to congratulate “FoldBuster” for shipping it! Guts will provide us with another freeroll at 1:30PM on Friday so make sure to tune in the Twitch broadcast for password.
Well, earlier I spoke about that it was Swedens day today at the tables. Not only on our tables as a fact. I would also take the opportunity to congratulate Mr. Peter Eichardt on taking down a $1,500 bracelet event in the WSOP. Congratulations my good friend Peter and thank you for bringing the eight bracelet back to Sweden!
Until tomorrow,
