Cash Game Festival Enters New Partnership with Pokio

August 10, 2019The second day of the Cash Game Festival Sunny Beach at Platinum Casino was booming.
The buzz was felt around the poker rooms with more than a dozen tables running for hours on end in a variety of games including NLHE, PLO, and, of course, Sviten Special.
Local Players Win Both Feature Tables
It was Bulgarian dominance at the TV tables with two players from home soil booking the biggest wins.
Alexander Herasimov was the first TV table winner after booking a nice profit of €497 at the €2/€2 NLHE early feature table. or 248.5 big blinds.
From there, the game was changed and the stakes went up, in what we refer to as the 5-5-5 game. This game was introduced at our last festival in Tallinn and it was an instant success with players battling it out at 5-card €5/€5 PLO.
The almost always smiling Angel Ivanov (lead image) was the big winner on this table after winning €1,610 or 322 big blinds.
Both of these players fell short of beating the 335 big blinds won by Viacheslav Kovalev at the first TV tables with stakes at €1/€2 NLHE.
Although Viacheslav currently has the lead, chances are he will be passed by someone for the Cash Game Festival Sunny Beach trophy awarded to the player that wins the biggest amount of big blinds at any of our first eight feature tables. There are some action games left including a €2/€2 Short Deck and a €2/€5 TV table on Friday’s Day 3 and a €2/€2 5-card PLO and a €5/€10 NLHE planned on Saturday’s Day 4.

Yesterday also featured the launch of a new partnership between the Cash Game Festival and the only legal real-money poker app in Europe, Pokio.
