February 28, 2016Cash Game Festival is what the poker community has long been waiting for. In the last decade, the poker scene has been growing tremendously and the main driver has been different tournament series online and live. To mention a few we are all aware of events like WSOP, Aussie Millions, EPT and Irish Open but when you come to think about it, most of these events has a strong follower base that doesn’t even partake in the tournaments, instead they join the festivals for the opportunity to play their game of choice – cash games.
What if someone could arrange a healthy player base in a city near you with a huge table selection and running over several days, let’s say a longer weekend. Wouldn’t this sound like the perfect world for most of us poker players, let it be you are a professional, an amateur or just a casual gambler with some hours to spare for your favourite past time activity.
The creation of our festival is based on the ideas above, we are creating a festival series that will run throughout the year, in different countries, partnering with only the best casinos and online operators to ensure you, the player, an experience out of the ordinary. Imagine entering your favourite casino on a festival morning and the poker tables are still running, at some level of games even a waiting list in place – Some cash game players would call it heaven, we choose to call it Cash Game Festival!
During 2016 we will host four events throughout Europe. For us throughout Europe means that there will be a stop each in Western, Northern, Eastern and Southern Europe. We will publish our stops one by one but a rough time table as follows:
- Quarter 1 of 2016 – West Europe will be held @ Aspers Casino in London
from Wednesday the 30th of March until Sunday the 3rd of April - Quarter 2 of 2016 – South Europe location to be announced 29th of February
- Quarter 3 of 2016 – East Europe location to be announced 30th of May
- Quarter 4 of 2016 – North Europe location to be announced 29th of August
During each festival we are live streaming at least one feature table through partners webpages and of course here on our own page as well as on twitch. So yes, you can for sure follow the action even if you are not present in London.
