March 31, 2016On Wednesday the 30th of March and Thursday the 31st of March we are launching the Cash Game Poker Tournament format at Aspers Casino Westfield Stratford City. The game starts at 18:00 sharp on both days so we suggest that you register at the casino well in advance both days.
What is a Cash Game Tournament you might ask, well, it is basically a normal Cash Game but it runs over a limited set of time = 2 hours and with a small sidepot put aside to the eventual tournament winner. There will also be some nice added prizes from Cash Game Festival’s partner companies; NordicBet, Guts.com, 888poker and OlyBet to the tournament winners.
The format played is first a round of X amount of round 1 SNG 8 Max tables and then the highest earners across all round 1 tables will reach a final table scheduled to start at 21:00.
So, how do we run it? Below are a break down of the format!
Cash Game Poker Tournament (Single Table SNG 8 Max)
Players enter the SNG and it plays as a normal cash game but with a 120 min clock. The chip leader at the end of the session wins the tournament prize money. Blinds will stay the same for 90 min an ante will be introduced for the final 30 min.
Tournament rules;
- TDA Tournament rules apply
- Players will be blinded out as in a tournament
- Players can chose to leave the table with their stack at any time but they will forfeit their tournament buy-in and opportunity to win the tournament prize.
- Deals can be made to finish the tournament before the end of the 120 period on request.
- Players can re-load or top up only to the game maximum limit.
Blinds: 0-90min = £1-£2
