Poker et Santé – Socialiser au Cash Game Festival et vivre plus longtemps?
November 6, 2017Festival poker international : 17 nationalités sont au CGF Tallinn
November 10, 2017Since 2014, the year that the Cash Game Festival was born in the small country of Estonia, we have met an impressive number of great people through our live poker festival. These people are smart, social and easy-going – an absolute pleasure to spend time with on and off the felt. As you know, many of you have become good friends of us and we would not have it any other way. There is always something to talk to you guys, be it poker, business or private life matters. Moreover, you are simply fun to spend time with when it comes to dining, partying, beer drinking sessions or even catamaran rides and sports. Glad to have met like-minded, fun-loving people just like you.
Wonderful that the game of poker helps to form meaningful friendships. It goes without saying that good friendships benefit our lives in many great ways. Friends celebrate good times with us and stick with us through the worst times, they make us feel like we belong and give our life a greater purpose; friends can boost our happiness and reduce stress, help us deal with life traumas and encourage us to change for the better. However, it is the fact of life that the older we get, the harder it is to make new friends. Due to our responsibilities, we have less time to socialize. Sometimes, our lives get so busy that we can barley find time for the couple of life-long mates that have known us since, say, primary school. So, we are super happy that the Cash Game Festival is helping you to connect with people of all ages and different nationalities.
At poker tables, people from various countries come together, creating their own community where cultural boundaries do not matter. We have seen it countless times during our festivals. So, now that Tallinn festival is just around the corner, we are super proud to announce that cash game poker lovers from 17 different countries have registered for the Cash Game Festival stop in the Capital of Estonia – Estonia, Finland, Sweden, Norway, Russia, Portugal, Spain, France, Poland, Lithuania, Latvia, UK, the Netherlands, Denmark, Ireland, Scotland & Ukraine. We are almost certain that by the end of the festival, we can add a few more nationalities to our ever-growing international poker family. What a wonderful venue, indeed, to make new international friends.
Talking about different nationalities and friendships, below are featured some great people that will join the Cash Game Festival in Tallinn on November 15-19 and who will also appear on the TV table. Here they are.
Ryan Davey, UK
Ryan, a married man from UK, found our festival via Twitch stream. He was watching our online live poker game, and since the Cash Game Festival was in his home town London and not far from his home, he decided to pop in and have a beer with the Twitch show host right in front of the live cameras. Since that day, he has been to several stops and simply loving the festival. Is Ryan a professional poker player? Not really, he is working for an aerospace engineering company, managing their machining department. In college, he studied mechanical and electrical engineering and applied mathematics. A super nice and intelligent guy, you will always have something to talk with him when around.
Jon Kyte, Norway
Jon came to the our London stop this year because he had heard about the festival from his friends who also live in Bergen, Norway. So, he simply flew to London, played well and became the proud winner of our first ever TV table trophy. In Tallinn, he will try to go for the second one. Jon’s life in Bergen is very much about poker. Namely, the young man runs a poker club named Skybert. He is doing it pretty much full-time! That is, when he is not busy studying for his marketing degree. He is planning to graduate this year. Good luck, Jon!
Daniel Näsman, Sweden
Super nice Daniel from Åre which is the home for one of the leading Scandinavian ski resorts, loves poker and has been to the Cash Game Festival for several times. In his everyday life, he is working as a bartender. He has studied at the school of life, as he jokingly puts it. And he has done it well because he is a pleasure to spend time with. How did he hear about us? Well, his good friend Kalle who has been to the very first Cash Game Festival in Tallinn, invited Daniel to join the Cash Game Festival adventure. To this day, Daniel is very thankful for his friend for the invite.
Kevin Malone, Ireland
Kevin’s very first introduction to the Cash Game Festival was in Dublin this year. He played several of our TV table sessions and managed to win the second TV table trophy of 2017. The final trophy battle in Dublin, according to Kevin, was rather hard as Ireland’s Mark Buckley offered some tough competition on the felt. In general, Kevin was very pleased to sit down at the TV table with the likes of Andy Black and other “poker names” of Ireland at our Dublin stop. Kevin cannot wait for Tallinn festival and is definitely going for the trophy once more. But what keeps Kevin busy outside poker? Well, he is self-employed and runs a construction management business called Malone Construction Management. He has a diploma in site management and worked as a Contracts Manager in medium sized construction company for 20 years before starting his own business in 2010.
Monika Zukowicz aka Hey Monia, Poland
This poker girl’s first introduction to the Cash Game Festival was in Gibraltar this year. Since then, she has never looked back and has been to almost every stop during 2017. She is especially looking forward to playing at the ladies’ special live TV table in Tallinn. This fun game will be live online on November 17 and can be viewed on our Twitch stream. What can we say about Monika? Only that she is super positive, always smiling and always ready for a good chat. She is definitely a poker pro and also working with Betsafe. But did you know that she studied pharmacology before truly discovering her passion in poker? Indeed, she is a proud owner of the Master of Pharmacy degree. However, Monika literally exchanged her white lab coat for felt-covered tables. What an adventurous spirit she has.
So, here is your chance to come to Tallinn stop and make more international poker friends. Now that you know a bit more about some of them, it is certainly easier to start a conversation. Happy to help! Moreover, there is still time to register for Tallinn games. Choose the date, the game and get ready for the 5-day poker adventure on Novemebr 15-19. You will find the registration form right HERE.
See you in Tallinn!
Yours,
