The Cash Game Festival Joins Hands with MPN Poker Tour

The spring is approaching and we have more exciting news! This one is about two absolutely awesome poker tours joining hands in April of 2018. Yes, it’s happening! For the first time in history, the Cash Game Festival (CGF) and MPN Poker Tour (MPN) are going to have a joint event.

These two events will be running simultaneously in the lovely Capital City of Slovakia, Bratislava. The CGF will kick off on April 4th with welcome drinks at 5 PM at Banco Casino Bratislava, and the MPN on April 5th with both poker events running till late nigh of April 8th. Naturally, the players will get to enjoy tournament and cash games with various stakes and poker variations. In Bratislava, the best of the two worlds is finally coming together.
And what’s the most superb thing about the collaboration? It’s the attitude of both teams towards running live poker events. Neither CGF not MPN is for poker pros only. You know, the type who sits quietly with their headphones on. Of course, poker pros are welcome and there have been plenty at both events. Turns out that they’ve enjoyed themselves greatly at both festivals. Just keep in mind that the live events are for people who also play poker for fun and who want to meet other like-minded players. There will be a plenty of socializing on the side and that you are going to make new friends at these venues. That’s a given.

The Cash Game Festival

What do we know about the festival that focuses on cash games? The CGF is a poker event organized by people who are passionate about poker and traveling. The festival was born in 2014 when a Swedish man, an entrepreneur, a poker lover and a travel addict, Martin “Franke” von Zweigbergk (Simply know as Franke.) had a great vision on how to take poker community by storm, subsequently founding a company in Estonia together with Enri Orav. The company was named the Cash Game Festival. The aim of the CGF is to offer a nice venue for cash game players – good games mixed with fun social activities and networking, so that poker players can fully enjoy the social experience of playing poker.
What started out as a local festival in Tallinn, is now offering 24/7 cash games throughout its 5-day festivals in different countries all across Europe. These festivals are spiced up with fine dining, fierce partying and several other activities that introduce local sights and culture. In addition, the festival features live online broadcasts straight from TV tables that are set up in host casinos. These live poker streams are run by a professional production team and hosted by a commentator(s), and can be viewed on CGF Twitch channel. First time in Bratislava this year, the team could not be any more excited. In Bratislava, the live poker stream will be hosted by young and enthusiastic poker savvy lads from UK, Henry Kilbane and George Sandford.

MPN Poker Tour

Similarly to the CGF, MPN Poker Tour was launched in 2014. Their first festival took place at Aspers Casino in London. MPN’s ethos is ‘Fun, Friendly and Affordable’. Fun because they go to great destinations where the players can play some poker, eat great food, enjoy excellent nightlife, and party as much as they want. Friendly because they’re a recreational tour, the events being for people who play poker for fun and who want to socialize. Affordable because MPN events are low-priced – not too cheap that the prizes aren’t worth winning, but not so expensive that you can’t justify playing. They are just right!
After numerous successful international stops over the years and a sunny stop in Morocco in January of 2018, they are beginning to get excited about their first ever visit to the beautiful Capital City of Slovakia, Bratislava. Bratislava sees them guaranteeing €150,000 in the main event, with side events and the welcome party adding to the fun and friendly atmosphere that have made MPN live events famous.
The new Event Manager of the MPN Poker Tour, Richard Cunningham is already counting the days till Bratislava blast.
